Team up with someone to help you both win. Who could you team up with that you could have a mutually beneficial professional relationship with? Help each other grow and help each other win. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
Make sure that you over communicate to alleviate any surprises and increase overall performance. After all, good communication is the right thing to do and the models the way for others. Don't confuse activity with results. It's one thing to be busy, but it's something else to produce results. After all – when you were hired i'm sure you were tired to produce results. And producing results is the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Next time you practice something or do any role-playing for sales, go around the room practicing with each other or break into groups of four or five. Have everyone give the person presenting a positive comment and an opportunity to work on or improve something. This way they get feedback to reinforce the positives and an opportunity to work on things to get better. After all, getting better is the right thing to do in the models the way for others. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. -Romans 12:2 Tonight my family and I went to listen to a Celtic band's Christmas program. It was set in a small theatre in Louisville and even though it ran a little late, it was still good wholesome family fun. Take time to enjoy events like these with your family and/or friends. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. If you are in sales, pitch them what they need, not what you think they will buy. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Make sure that you get enough sleep every night to be at your best. Taking care of yourself is more than just eating right and exercising. Getting enough sleep is needed for you to be on your "a game" and thinking clearly. Plus getting enough sleep can help you from becoming irritable. So get enough sleep, at least 7-8 hours per night. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Make sure you use your "third eye" and be aware of your surroundings. You would be surprised how much you miss if you are not looking around. Many times it is because you are very focusing on the task at hand or going to a specific location that you don't slow down and become more observant. So use the imaginary eye in the middle of your forehead like the mythical creature from Greek mythology and later Roman mythology, the Cyclops. Be observant and look around you. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. I'm sure if you are in sales or own a business that you seen the number one rule, "if you don't take care of the customer someone else well." When I make decisions about work, I factor in three things: what's best for the customer, what's best for the company, and what's best for the salesrep or parties involved. Remember to be proactive instead of being reactive. If at all possible work on a resolution today instead of waiting until tomorrow. Its amazing how much more frustrated a customer can become in just a few overnight hours. Pick up the phone and call them versus sending an email. After all, follow the #1 Rule and model the way for others. |
