You get what you pay for

Don't be mistaken, cheap is not better. You get what you pay for. Whether it's a product, service or people, you truly do get what you pay for. Invest into the product, service or people that will last and/or serve your needs. You won't regret the additional investment. After all, paying a little for getting the best product, service or people is the right thing to do.

Preppers

There is something to be said for being prepared for any situation. But being prepped is as much about mental prep as it is about physical prep. So next time you are preparing for something, stop and make sure you are as mentally prepared as you are physical prepared. After all being prepared is the right thing to do and it models the way for others.

Just saying

Sometimes you should bite your tongue and not say what you really feel. It may be better just to not say what you want to say and do the right thing. After all sometimes it's better not to say anything, than to say the wrong thing. It's the right thing to do and it models he way for others.

Going through change can be exciting, or you could view it as scary. I think it's all based upon your mindset. Be open to change. Find something about the change that you like or find exciting because finding these areas can jump start how you view the change. Embracing change by finding something about the change that you like is the right thing to do and it models the way for others.

Candy Land

We played the board game Candy Land as a family tonight. Then we followed it up with Shoots and Ladders. Good family fun. Great laughs. My daughter won and I lost. It's the simple memories that you can create that you will look back on later in life. The memories playing the game with my family growing up. What memories will you stop and create, like it seems like my family did tonight with a future scheduled weekly game night. After all creating great memies is a great thing to do and it models the way for others.

Uncle

Know when to say uncle. Sometimes enough is enough if you are on the wrong path. You may need to turn around and go down another path. A path that will you where you need to be. Where you can find a new future, that you are passionate about. I have shown a better path to several people, but recently I showed this to Dee, and she will be greatly missed. She has a bright future on her new path. I wish her all the best and I look forward to hearing where path leads her. After all change truly is different, and change can lead to growth, because the if you learn to apply your learnings from the past, great thing can and do happen. It takes great courage to change paths, but when you get down your new path and look back...you realize you made the best decision for your future.

Drive time

What do you do when you drive? Try taking at least one day a week to listen to an educational or motivational audio podcast or recording. You will be amazed at how much you can grow and learn just while driving. You may choose to increase the weekly frequency, but even at one day a week it's more than you were doing so that's a step in the right direction. Plus it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.

Walgreens has a new saying "Be Well" that says a lot. It's a pharmacy who realizes their main focus is to help people stay well. Being Well or Staying Well is important to make sure that you are able to reach your full potential. So eat right, do preventative care to stay well, exercise, take time for just you to think, and get plenty of sleep. After all being well is the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
