What type of training participants are you? The prisoner, the vacationer, or the active participant? When you are in a training class what type of learner are you? The best one is the active participant, because they are there to learn. So make sure that when you are at your next training session that you actively learn. After all, it's the right thing to do in the models the way for others.
Have you seen in a nearby downtown area the traveling bike pedaling bar on wheels where somebody drives it? The whole thing relies on all 16 people peddling. If one or two people stop peddling, It creates more work for everybody else. So make sure you do your part and pedal. After all, it's the right thing to do in the models the way for others. God's Love and Ours7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 What do you say, when you don't know what to say. When you're faced with a situation that you're not sure how you should respond to? Hw do you want to respond? Take time to figure it out. Also take time to figure out an answer what you believe. What are your family values? What are your values personally? Because being able to know where you personally stand helps you when you half to answer the tough or uncomfortable questions. Plus it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Respect authority and this over you. Whether put there by Gid, company, or government. Learn your role and your place. When it is appropriate to speak up and when is it not. Should you comment in front of the group or take it to a closed door room in private. This is part of growing up and becoming wise. Plus it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Make sure that you can have open dialogue with your spouse or significant other and be open to talking about anything. Conversation is one of the best ways to connect. So make time and take time to talk. On the tough topics, find a way to make the conversation happen at the right time in the right place. It can make a huge difference. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. I have been out with many sales reps out doing cold calls over the years. Over the years I have dropped in on over 15,000 potential customers during sales call drop ins or cold calls. Tomorrow I will experience a first. A fairly new sales rep is packing both of us lunch so we can be more productive and increase our potential customer facing time. It actually makes sense. This rep's plan is to drop in on 100 prospects tomorrow. With the well thought out plan for lunch, I believe we may just reach the triple digit goal tomorrow. I'm off to sleep now. Tomorrow looks like it's going to fast paced and action packed. :-) I love it! Make sure that you think first, then speak. Because if you do it the other way around and speak before you think, you might say things that you will regret. So it's okay to take time to pause and reflect first, after you think and before you speak. After all, it's the right thing to do and models the way for others. Sometimes your plans change, and you need to change your plans. It may not be what you want to do, but you know what you should do. When you own what you do and what is expected of you, you may not get to do what you want to do when you want to do it. You may just have to wait or skip whatever you wanted to do altogether. That's part of ownership, responsibility and modeling the way of doing the right thing. |
