Complement your spouse, it's not just saying nice words to them or compliments, but do you complement your spouse when you're with them? Do you bring out the best in them? Do you help them shine brighter than they were without you beside them? Make sure that you build up and encourage your mate and that you don't have their light shine less bright with you beside them. It's not just words but also your actions that encourage and build up your spouse. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
Complement your spouse
Great leaders are great listeners
Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you.
If a variety of people you know and don't know we're asked if you were nice what would they say? Are you pleasant, fun loving and enjoy a good laugh? Are you loyal, happy or a joy to be around? OR would they say you are uptight, stressed or worried. Would they say you were serious, not nice or had to have the last word in...no matter what the conversation was about? Think about how you would like to be viewed by those that know you and how you would like to be perceived by those that don't know you. Your attitude on the outside that others see is a direct reflection of what is going on inside. Think on these things and decide who you are and who you want to become, as an individual and even as a couple. Define your roles and your vision for yourself and each other. After all it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
Dreams. In my opinion sometimes dreams are of things you like or do not like are signs from God trying to teach you something by sending you a message to help you get a point that you may not be getting when you are awake. Maybe it's about changing your behavior or about changing something so that it doesn't happen. Pay attention to the dreams but don't let them impact what you know to be the truth. Just look for the signs and see what message might be there that God wants you to receive. After all listening to God is the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
Don't just try...Make it happen
Don't just try, make it happen. Find a way to make it happen. Don't be is known as someone who just "tries to," be known as someone who makes it happen. After all it's a better way to do life and it models the way for others.
Sometimes even when you take care of your health, wash your hands, take your vitamins, and stay healthy you still get sick. Do everything you can to stay well and keep those around you well. Take your vitamins, work out, stay healthy, and wash your hands. After all, it's the right thing to do and it allows you to be at your peak performance and model the way for others.
It's okay not to talk
It's okay not to talk. Sometimes just be quiet and enjoy what's being said around you and what you looking at. When people constantly talk and can't stop talking, that's a problem. Enjoy the silence and enjoy being by yourself. That way you have the opportunity to enjoy all of God's beauty all around you. It's the right thing to do and it models the way for those around you .
Focus on the good
Focus on the good and not the bad. Remember that God is in control, so let go and let God. The more you try to control, the more let down you will be with unrealistic expectations. Work to build others up with the good instead of breaking them down with the bad. It's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
New International Version
Do what you say you will do
Make sure you do what you say you will do. It is the best way to build trust and show your true character. If you don't think you can or will do it, then don't say it. It's the rightbghongvto do and it models the way for others.
