What will your legacy be? What will you do in this lifetime that will last after you've gone on? Take time to make an impact now so at the end of your life when you look back, you will have made a difference. After all, it's the right thing to do and models the way for others
The best habits of a sales pro include time, activity and attitude. To have long term success you need to effectively manage your time, maximize your activity, and have an excellent attitude. These are the basic foundations of being a sales professional. Plus, it's the right thing to do that will lead to maximizing your earnings, and it models the way for others, If you are in sales, make sure that you understand that your job is "to deliver your number." How you go about that is important, but as long as you stay in sales, make sure you know what your job is. After all, knowing what the #1 outcome from your position is...is the right thing to do and it models the way for others. You never get a second chance to make a great first impression. Making a great first impression takes planning, preparation and confidence. It also requires future-focused thinking to be able to envision how you want your first impression to be. Making a great first impression is the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Years ago I used to show it externally and verbally when I was stressed. Then I was taught the importance of handling stressful situations in a positive controlled way Work to show "calm assertive energy" like the dog whisperer teaches. It takes time, energy and effort to improve this, but speaking from experience, it is well worth it and it models the way for others. Find a way to say a paragraph in one sentence and still make the point, and model the way for others. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 I recently decided to unplug when I am home. I put my cellphone in its charging place when I am home and leave it there, only checking it before going to bed to write my blog and check my messages. The idea of unplugging is important to make sure I am actively engaged with my family when I am home. It's important that they know they are a priority in my life by my behaviors and my actions. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Sometimes you just need a moment of silence. Tonight that seems appropriate. A homeless man died on the steps outside s closed homeless shelter last night... (Silence...) My recommendation is to find a theme or specific topic to blog about. My theme is about "Modeling the Way" which is about doing things the right or best way. Specifically, it's about leadership, parenting and sales. Every Sunday, I quote a verse from the a Bible. I have a set schedule of when I blog, and for me it's every day. Unless I don't have Internet connection and then I make up every day missed once I am able. I use Weebly and GoDaddy. GoDaddy to host my website and Weebly to build my site and blog from. I use the Weebly mobile app and feed it to my Twitter account and my mobile app. The Weebly mobile app pushes my blog out whereI want it posted. It can also post to Facebook, but I personally reserve Facebook for my closest friends throughout my life and not for blogging purposes. I find that this strategy works best for me. I challenge you that if you have been wanting to blog and put your thoughs down to start blogging. It's one of the best decisions I have made and I have found that it allows me to express my thoughts, ideas and feelings. Make sure if you blog to be sensitive not to offend your close friends by blogging about personal and private issues. That's not proper blogging edicate. Those select issues should be discussed verbally, preferably face-to-face. So take 10-15 minutes on your dedicated blogging days and start blogging. You most likely will find that you really enjoy it. After all, stepping up to do something and commit to something that's optional to do is very respectful and it models the way for others. |
