Sometimes accidents happen. Hold back from getting mad or upset if it all possible, because it makes a bad situation worse. Understand that with accidents, it's usually regarding stuff for time. In the whole scheme of things, realize it's just an accident and it's not as important as you think it that is when you step away from the situation. As you step away and look at the situation you will realize it's just an accident, so make sure you respond accordingly. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.

When your manager, your manager's manager, or anyone above you on the chain of command sends you an email, make sure you reply and respond. Otherwise no response says something. It's better to have a bad response, than no response at all. No response says that you are actively disengaged. So make sure you respond.   After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.

What does your face say? The look on your face says a lot, so if you're not in front of a mirror then how do you know what your face looks like? Sometimes you can tell that you have a look on your face when you see the look on the face of the person you're talking to. Sometimes the other person will ask you or tell you about the look on your face. So make sure that your face matches what you really feel. After all, it's the right thing to do in the models the way for others
