Most top reps or employees are left alone by their managers. They instead spend the majority of their time with their underperforming or newer reps or employees. The best managers push their top reps or employees to be come more than they were. Great managers, or should I say great leaders, help their top reps or employees improve and contribute so they can become better and thus the overall organization improves. For most employees it's a good feeling to learn something and get better, plus when the underperformers or newer employees see the top performers getting better, the natural tendency isto step up their game. There is a way to be both positive and push top reps or employees, thereby improving your overall organization and bench strength. Which is the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
