Growing up watching Mister Rogers he always said, "Won't you be my neighbor."
Well many year later, I have always made it a priority to be good neighbor. Today, I met our new neighbors. They seem like a very nice couple. Being a good neighbor is a good thing. Even though your neighbors may be a different in many ways. They may have different religious beliefs, speak a different language, or be older or younger, to name some if the differences. But no matter what, you have a choice to look out for and learn to understand other people outside your regular circle. So won't you be "a good" neighbor? After all it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
