Learn to laugh at yourself. Many years ago I worked for s manager that put me in an uncomfortable position that was totally out of my comfort zone. I really didn't want to do with this manager was asking, but they didn't give me a choice. That experience alone got me to learn to laugh at myself and have fun doing it. It helped me become a better leader, manager, father, and husband. And not in that order. Plus, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
