At work if you need something or have a question, don't bypass your manager. Go to your manager first, then if needed let them direct you to go see someone else. By going directly to your manager's manager or to another manager, you may get inaccurate information, plus you don't get the opportunity to communicate with your direct manager. If you bypass your manager because you are impatient, then maybe God is trying to teach you patience and that by requiring an answer now may be a sign that you think think the world revolves around you. Learning to wait can help you become humble and improve your work relationships. Remember that God placed your manager over you for a purpose. By going around them or not communicating with them you could miss something that you are supposed to learn. Show respect by over-communicating with your manager and watch what will come out of the relationship. You might be surprised what you will see, learn, and experience. It's the right thing to do and it models the way by having patience and over-communicating.
