Whenever you are explaining something to someone who thinks differently than you do, which is most people, make sure you customize your message to them in the best way possible for them to receive it. And if they receive it well, there's a greater chance for actual usage from the information given. Understanding how someone else is wired and customizing your presentation for them to best receive it, is a sign of caring, experience and an ability to adapt to get the best outcome. Make sure you customize your message, and then watch how much better your message can be received. You'll be surprised how much more of and impact you can make with those around you when given the opportunity or asked. It's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
