Deciding now and committing to change is where growth happens, but it can only happen after you figure out why you are the way you are. It's only then when you uncover the root core issue that you can truly sustain long term change. To become better than you were is a noble cause, but it's not easy. So invest in change now while you can change. The older you get the harder it becomes to change. Most people don't want to look in the mirror and peel back the onion to uncover the why you are the way you are. But when you do and you focus on the gaping hole, change can happen and it' can be permanent. Plus, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
Can you change? If there is an opportunity for you to change, to become better than you were...would you? If someone cared enough to tell you your gaping hole opportunity, would you plug the hole, fix it for ninety days and go back to doing it, or could you fix it permanently? Some might say "I would do nothing." Then what? Knowing there's an opportunity to become better and doing nothing, to me isn't even an option...so what would you do.?
