Birthday celebration of life

I went to the former teammate's birthday celebration today, which was a celebration of his life. At 44 years old, he was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been receiving treatments to fight off the disease. It was one the best birthday celebrations and celebrations of life that I've ever been to. My prayers are with the family and my friend Brian as he perseveres through this challenge. Thank you for including me in this joyous occasion. Celebrate with those you love and those you care about while they're here and help encourage them to persevere through challenging times and live life to it's fullest. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
