Eight years ago a mentor of mine told me, whenever you need to present a message to a group of people, make sure you run through you presentation at least seven times. By practicing your presentation at least seven times, you become familiar with the material, message, inflection and tone that you need to deliver the message and make an impact on the audience. By following this simple advice, along with taking some public speaking classes in college and also with my company, I have been able to deliver impactful relevant messages. I share this advice with you today to help you become a more impactful leader and presenter. It's a better way to prepare to present and it models the way for others.
