Today's blog is a celebration of my father, born in 1938. He would have been 76 years old today. He loved Jesus, was a good husband, a good father, a good grandfather, a good friend, a true gentleman, a good salesman, a good leader, a good provider, a good protector, a hard worker, and much more. I miss him every single day. So here's to you Dad! Thanks for doing all you did, and now that I have a family of my own and two small children I'm not sure how you did it all with three kids and a wonderful wife.
For those of you that have one or both of parents still alive, make sure that you make the time and take the time to enjoy them and fully get to know how great they truly are. Work through any past issues or hard feelings, if there are any. Because that relationship is like none other than you will have throughout your life. Because this truly is the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
