Where is your happy place? Understanding how you relax and how you need to wind down is very important. Being able to know what makes you happy and what frustrates you will help you manage your stress and be able to improve your worklife balance. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
Make sure you do things the right way. When you don't do things the right way it creates extra work and you have to redo things. In today's world, you can't always delegate things to somebody else, you just have to go do it yourself. So do it the right way and save yourself some time overall. Plus, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Just because you don't think something is important, doesn't mean it is. Sometimes you're not looking at the big picture or the impact of something. So make sure you step away, understand the big picture, and realize sometimes things are more important than what you think they are. Plus, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens -Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV) Lifting up my pastor and his wife, Bob and Vickie Cherry, as he retired today after 38.5 years. Wishing them all of God's blessings as they enter the next season of ministry. Make sure that you take the time to thank those that help you. In today's busy and fast paced life taking time to help others says a lot about them and it said a lot about you. It takes time, energy, and effort to help someone else, so make sure you are appreciative for anyone that goes out of their way to help you. Plus, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. On Thursday someone I know was experiencing pain and went to the hospital. Then they found out he had a gallstone 3 cm wide. They did surgery and he was recovering. Then they fed him a full meal of meatloaf and he ate it. Then they diagnosed him with pancreatitis. Next the doctor recommended he remove his gallbladder.. Learn to speak up and don't just accept the pain. Speak up and communicate extreme pain and what you feel. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. If I was to ask your best friend or your family if you were optimistic or pessimistic, what would they say? Is your glass half-full or is it half empty? Looking at life and at specific situations with your glass half-full can ultimately produce better results, because you don't see the "impossible," you see "I'm possible." Plus, after all it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. If you wait you may need to step up. Sometimes when you put your priorities over someone else's and don't take it as serious as her own priorities, you may need to step up to cover the expectations upon you. Knowing what you have to do is one thing, but knowing what is expected of you is another. So step up if you're behind, procrastinating, or just waiting.. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. What would you do if you lost your job? How easily could you replace the income? How would you tell your family? Be proactive so this doesn't ever happen, but it does...know how to plan and respond. It's the little extra things that you do daily to help you win over time. So step up and do a little more and win versus losing. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Sometimes something crosses your path and it's just a God thing. There's no way to explain it. It doesn't make sense. But it's happening and you were freaking out. It's those times that you just got to say "yay God." After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. |
