There is a period of my life as a young adult where I was just plain young and dumb. I thought I knew best, did things for selfish reasons, and just made really bad decisions. I'm very greatful that those days are well behind me. Today was one of the days I was reminded of being young and dumb. A good friend of mine from years past reached out on FB. One stupid action hurt our friendship for which I am very sorry. Here is the advice I would have given my young and dumb self...don't be stupid. Seek wise counsel and listen. And, as I teach my kids by modeling the way, when you hurt someone tell them you are sorry and ask for their forgiveness. It's never too late to say you're sorry and ask for forgiveness. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
