Sometimes after a long day at work, I pull over on my street on the way home and take 5 minutes to prepare myself for the transition from provider to husband and dad. I have found this to very effective to help me with the transition of the day from work to home. Having a balance with both is important to any man or woman who works out of the home. So take 5 on the way home and pull over and see if that helps manage your stress and transition. After all having the proper balance is the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
