Responsibility is critical in corporate America and in life. Taking responsibility and being where you're supposed to be when you're supposed to be there is among the greatest value at work because if you're not there you can't do the job. If you "are all in" at work, your manager won't have to worry or wonder where you are at. If you are the only employee that your manager has to remind you of a big meeting with them, and then you no show and no call at the meeting time, you might be irresponsible. Take time and make time to improve your communication and take responsibility to be where you are supposed to be. Be honest with yourself and work to improve this area if you think this is an area of opportunity for you. It's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
