make sure you praise from the pulpit and preach from the streets if you are a leader of people or a manager. What that means is that you tell good news in front of a group and you provide constructive feedback and discipline if needed behind closed doors. It helps build morale when you're talking people up publicly and keep behind closed doors the coaching and more private feedback. It also shows respect for your team and helps gain trust and momentum by recognizing people publicly. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
