When you're in a new position, or a new role, or in a new company; you need to realize that you may have to step it up and put in extra time and hours to get the job done. Make sure you understand that you're being paid to do the job, not for just the hours you put in. So be prepared to step it up and realize it may take more than what you initially thought. But when you step it up, put it in the hours needed to win, and execute the right strategies and tactics the results will come. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
