Stay as late as you need to in order to stay ahead and not get behind. It's always better to work and play from being ahead than having to worry about catching up and playing from behind. So work late if you need to, because you will miss more sleep other nights worrying than by just being proactive and by staying ahead. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
