There's more to a sales career than just selling and hitting your numbers. I have seen many reps lose their jobs for just thinking that the only component of the sales job is just to achieve their numbers. It's important that you understand and work well with both your internal and external customers, because they are both important. Besides achieving your numbers, it's also important that you have a great attitude. Make sure you are not negative and that you work with internal and external customers to the best of your ability. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
