Giving high-fives either in person or via email or can help build up confidence and someone. Take time to build someone up to recognize them for the job they're doing. Make sure that you bring out the good in them and tell them how good they're doing as well as tell them two or three things they could change. The delivery of the message matters so make sure you customize your feedback and high-fives in a way that you can recognize what they did great and give them a couple of nuggets to help them become better than they were. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others.
