So I never thought I would blog about not signing another person's name, but after being a sales manager and general manager I feel that it's important to note that you should never sign someone else's name. What I have learned is that in desperate times, people do desperate things, and any shortcut where you're initialing or signing someone else's name is unethical and you shouldn't do it. Because, once you cross this line and do it, it becomes easier to do it again, but what you find out that it will come back to you and you'll be held accountable for your actions. So make sure that you don't do things you shouldn't do, like sign another person's name. After all, not signing someone else's name, no matter what, models the way for others and it's the right thing to do.
