Make time for your brother and sister. They are the ones who you've shared the good and the bad. Forgive one another and tell them how much you love them. Most likely they will know you the longest while you are here on this earth.
Clara Ortega said it well, "To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember the family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time."
Take time to thank them today and tell them you love them. Life's too short and these relationships too valuable to hold grudges or ill feelings. It's the right thing to do and it models the the way for your brother(s) and/or sister(s) and those you love.
As for me, I want to thank my brother and sister for being there for me, through the good and the bad, through the wild and the calm, through the sick times and the well, through the happy and the sad. Today's blog is dedicated to you and I thank God for you every day.
