Are you in or out? When you love who you work for and you love what you do, then make sure that your mind, words, and actions show it. If you're not into it, get out,or better yet...don't except an opportunity that's just short-term. Make a commitment, because life is full of commitments and you can prepare you for the biggest commitment yet, marriage. And for marriage, the way God designed it, there's no out. It's truly about commitment. And being fully engaged and fully in, is the way to live, and it's the right thing to do and models the way for others.
Choose your attitude. Make sure you have the right attitude for every situation, otherwise you will face an increased uphill climb that will challenge you beyond your core. Plus it's the right thing to do in the mollis the way for others. What's on your desk? Is there unfinished business or things that need to be taken care of on your desk? Make sure that you don't procrastinate on important issues and that you prioritize and plan efficiently and effectively. Otherwise, you could be creating extra work and extra hours that are unnecessary. So plan accordingly and don't procrastinate. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Take time to serve others. Serving others and putting yourself in uncomfortable situation can many times help you be grounded for what's really important. Learn from other people. Realize that throughout your life there are forks in the road and if you think about the end of your life and and you think about the life you want to have lived, when you look back it makes it easier to choose the right fork in the road to end up where you ultimately want to be. So know what's important and take them to serve. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Take time to pay attention to your approach. How you approach things can impact the outcome. So watch your words, watch your tone, and use "we" and inclusion terms, instead of "I" and "We." After all there's no "I" in team and it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Watch nervous energy. Whether it's biting your nails, shaking, or bouncing your legs. It can be perceived as nervous energy. If you're in sales, it may mean that you are not comfortable with the situation and that may prevent the prospective customer from signing or buying. Make sure you do everything you can to prevent or minimize nervous energy. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Sometimes it's a long day and a long night. Make sure you take time to understand your day. Every day is not going to be the same day. But when you take time each day to recognize the new day, it makes that better than itself. Be ready to adapt and change. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Create habits to make sure you're on time. Allow more time than needed to complete a task or travel to location. Once you understand that being on time is about respecting other people, it may impact your focus to be on time. Plus, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. Don't just work by yourself. Learn to work together. When you were together you are able to draw from everyone's strengths and not just your own. One thing I've learned in life is that there will always be those greater and lesser than yourself. Knowing that, helps you understand how working as a group can help you become better than you were. After all, it's the right thing to do and it models the way for others. |
